Musical instruments used in Greek folk songs are the lira and laouto (lute), the tambouras and gaida (bagpipe), the zournas (shawm), the daouli (drum), the dachares (tambourine), the ziyia (paired groups) and the violi (violin).

There are a lot of geographic sights to see in Greece. The tallest mountain in Greece is Mount Olympus. Mount Olympus is located in Macedonia. It’s about 2,917 miles high. There are no desert regions in Greece. Another type of geographic site to see is Lake Koronia. It is one of the few lakes in Greece. Lake Volvi is another one of the few lakes in Greece. There is even a volcano in Greece called Santorini. It’s said to have the largest crater in the world. It has a height of 300 miles and a diameter of 11 kilometers.

Just like the bars, the restaurants and taverns are always near in Athens. The Plaka area is probably the most beautiful, but also the most visited by tourists. Keep a lookout for the areas with lots of Greeks in them - that applies for everywhere in Greece. In Syntagma and Kolonaki there are also many areas, and in Glyfada and Vouliagmeni you are close to the water, and the atmosphere is usually a little bit more high class. The area Psiri close to Acropolis is very wealthy with lots of beautiful places with live music day and night. In Athens you will find a plethora of fast food like Mc Donald's ,Wendy's the Greek chain of Goody's ,Pizza hut ,Starbucks , and many other famous chains but the most typical fast food in Greece is the souvlaki .But as I said, there is a place in every corner and you can get absolutely anything you want.
Night Life/Music Athens Jazz bars, discos, bouzoukia clubs, heavy metal bars - it's all here. There are places all over Athens, but the most frequented areas are Syntagma, Kolonaki and Glyfada. While Greeks today mainly wear a modern style of clothing, they still do traditional costumes for festivals and national holidays, these costumes' styles are used between the mainland and the islands, but many contain bits of the ancient draped garments, and they all have some similar parts in terms of materials and basic construction. The chiton and peplos were both simple garments made from one-piece rectangles of fabric, with holes cut out for the head. The peplos had no sleeve, while the chiton covered some of the arms. Over this, people could wear a cloak called a himation. These garments were mostly made of wool, a fabric used a lot in Greek clothing, due to the currency of sheep farming in Greece and the country's surprisingly cool winters.
