In the old kingdom harps, flutes and double clarinets were played . Also added to percussion instruments were lyres and lutes. String instruments were also used in Egypt. Percussion instrument’s include bells, hand held drums and more.
Traditional instruments include the harp, lyre, lute, reed flute, clappers, and drums. Music in Egyptian life can be performed by clapping. Clapping, folk, Arabic and Religious music was a way that Egyptians could produce music and have some fun. This music was heard at the Egyptian temples to celebrate holidays and parties. There were many ways Egyptians could show their joy on special occasions, such as clapping and playing instruments and listening to their music. Some famous musicians in Egypt are Amr Diab and Mohammed Abdel Wahab. Others include Al Jeel, and Aida El- Shah who are also pop artists. Amr Diab is an Egyptian popstar and composer of Pop music. He is widely considered the godfather of Mediterranean music and the best selling Middle Eastern artist of all time. Mohammed Abdel Wahab was the most prolific Arabic composer of his time, responsible for more than a thousand songs. He personally sang hundreds. For his orchestration of the Egyptian national anthem, Prime Minister Anwar Sadat awarded him the rank of general. |

Egypt’s first pyramid around 2700 B.C. And the Pyramids of Giza we’re built around 2600 B.C. There is no borders around Egypt itself but there is the Indian ocean , South and North Atlantic ocean surrounding Africa. Egypt is mainly a desert.
Since in Egypt there is mainly sand and no water, the Nile River helped a lot! Since it was so commonly hot in Egypt it made it hard to survive. This weather was very occurring so Egypt got little amounts of rain, where the Nile helped a lot in those times. The population was about 82.06 million this was last estimated in 2013. Back then Egyptians rode camels and donkeys. But now in modern times Egyptians flew and rode hot air balloons, sleeper trains, buses, and felucca boats. all families with only one son don't have to send him to the army, but if two sons they will not be both sent at the same time. So one son is always home, this is a strange law in Egypt. When traveling to Egypt you want to make sure to bring plenty of food and water or you wont be going back! And watch out for quick sand. Some animals in Egypt are the camel, duck, geese, dogs, pigs, and cattle.

Egypt has different climates such as rainfall very hot weather and others. For example, Egypt averages between January and June 2.5 and 5 mm of rain fall. But as going to summer it decreases. As going to July to December it goes back to where the rainfall amount started in January. But since then it has increased by 3mm. The temperature in Cairo from January to July, temperature adds up by 15 degrees Celsius. Again going to December it decreases by only 12 degrees Celsius. So with these temperatures’ this describes the land of Egypt.

Egypt has a lot of different cultures. One culture is, cosmopolitan like fashion. Some holidays include, the first of May workers day also, on the 23rd of December is victory day. Another holiday is June 30th uprising which is a national holiday, also Coptic good holiday which is observance holiday.
native animals
Some native animals include crocodiles who live in the Nile river water which is the worlds largest river. Another native animal is the hippopotamus a very fierce animal lots of people die from this animal even today.

The first flag was established in 1923 after Egypt got their independence from great Britain in the year 1922. In 1984, another flag had an eagle in place of an eagle and the colors are red, white and black the colors on the Egypt flag today.
